Alahesh Thurairajah, PE, GE

President and Principal

Mr. Thurairajah is responsible for the management and delivery of highway and bridge projects. With over 10 years of experience, Mr. Thurairajah has provided geotechnical design/construction recommendations for 250+ bridges, 300+ standard and non-standard retaining walls, and 100+ miles of roadway. He has prepared Structure Preliminary Geotechnical Reports, Preliminary and Final Foundation Reports, District Preliminary Geotechnical Reports, Geotechnical Design Reports, Preliminary and Final Materials Reports in compliance with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) standards for numerous bridge/freeway projects for PA/ED and PS&E phases of the projects. Having successfully delivered projects from PA/ED to PS&E and through construction, he has a thorough understanding of the Caltrans delivery process. His technical expertise includes foundation design, earth retaining structure design, seismic hazard evaluations, liquefaction evaluation, slope stability analyses, pavement structural section design, ADL study, and pile drivability study. Mr. Thurairajah has managed several large transportation projects and has a reputation of delivering quality projects on accelerated schedules.

Mr. Thurairajah earned his M.S. at the University of California, Los Angeles and is a registered Civil and Geotechnical Engineer in California.
